To be Eraclito by Stefano Donno

Eraclito, also known as Heraclitus, was a Greek philosopher who lived in the late 6th and early 5th centuries BCE. He was born in the city of Ephesus, located in present-day Turkey, and is known for his contributions to the field of philosophy, particularly his ideas about change and the concept of logos.

Eraclito is perhaps best known for his concept of panta rhei, or "everything flows," which asserts that everything in the universe is constantly changing and in a state of flux. This idea is often represented by the metaphor of a river, with the river being a symbol of change and the individual experiences of life being like the water that flows through it. Eraclito believed that the only constant in the universe is change itself, and that individuals must learn to adapt and flow with this constant change in order to find happiness and meaning in life.

Eraclito's concept of panta rhei has had a significant influence on the development of Western philosophy, and his ideas have been explored and expanded upon by many philosophers throughout history. In particular, his concept of change has been explored in relation to the nature of reality, the concept of identity, and the idea of progress.

In addition to his ideas about change, Eraclito is also known for his concept of logos, which can be translated as "reason" or "word." Eraclito believed that the concept of logos was the underlying principle that governed the universe, and that it was the source of all understanding and knowledge. He argued that logos was eternal and unchanging, and that it was the foundation of all reality.

Eraclito's ideas about change and the concept of logos have had a lasting impact on the field of philosophy, and continue to be explored and debated by philosophers today. Despite the many centuries that have passed since he lived, his ideas remain relevant and continue to influence our understanding of the world around us.
