La principessa Zaffiro (titolo originale giapponese: リボンの騎士 Ribon no kishi, lett. "Cavaliere del nastro") è un manga scritto e illustrato da Osamu Tezuka, pubblicato in Giappone dal 1952 al 1953. La storia è ambientata in un mondo fantastico dove la protagonista, la principessa Sapphire, deve affrontare numerose sfide per diventare la regina del suo regno.
La principessa Zaffiro è una giovane e coraggiosa principessa che vive in un castello con il padre, il re, e il fratello minore, il principe Diamond. Quando il re viene gravemente ferito in battaglia, Sapphire e Diamond sono costretti a fuggire dal castello per evitare di essere catturati dai loro nemici. Durante la fuga, Sapphire scopre di possedere uno speciale potere, il "cavaliere del nastro", che le permette di trasformarsi in un cavaliere con un nastro magico.
